About KidCon

A week kids
won't forget.

KidCon is Citymark's take on VBS, the vacation Bible school you remember as a kid, but reimagined as a full-on summer kids camp built for League City. Each morning kicks off at Citymark with a high-energy service: live worship, a big Bible story, and the kind of energy only KIDCON can pull off. From there, kids load up on luxury charter buses escorted by League City Police for the day's off-site adventure.

For the first time ever, day three stays on campus. Same morning worship and Bible story, then a full carnival takes over for the rest of the day: petting zoo, ferris wheel, face painting, cotton candy, games, and a faith moment kids carry far beyond the summer.

The Lineup

Three days,
one wild week.

01
Day One
Main Event.

Worship and a Bible story at Citymark, then we charter buses straight to Main Event for the day. Bowling, arcade games, laser tag, the works.

02
Day Two
Slick City.

Service first, then off to Slick City, the indoor slide park where every wall is a slide. Kids leave wiped out in the best way possible.

03
Day Three
Carnival Finale.

For the first time ever, day three stays on campus. Morning worship and Bible story like always, then a full carnival takes over: petting zoo, ferris wheel, cotton candy, face painting, and games.

Same morning service as always, then the carnival rolls in: petting zoo, ferris wheel, cotton candy, face painting, and games right here in the parking lot. KidCon Jr. still wraps up at noon, but they get to jump into the carnival before pick-up too. Pick-up times stay the same for both.

KidCon Jr.

For the first time ever, we're also offering KIDCON JR., a special experience for 4 and 5 year olds who are fully potty trained. Age-appropriate worship, engaging Bible stories, and hands-on crafts and activities, all designed to help our youngest kids experience God's love in a meaningful way.

KIDCON JR. stays on campus the whole time, no off-site trips. Pick up is at 12:00 PM each day, and registration is just $30 per kid.

FAQs

Parent
questions.

Yes, kind of. KidCon is Citymark's version of VBS, a vacation Bible school built as a three-day summer kids camp instead of the traditional five-night format. Kids still get worship, Bible teaching, and faith-forming moments, plus off-site adventures and a full carnival on day three. If you've been searching for a kids camp or vacation Bible school in League City, KidCon is it.
Lunch is covered every day, plus snacks and drinks throughout. Days one and two are pizza parties (every kid's favorite), and day three is a Canes lunch on campus. The carnival on day three also brings cotton candy and treats. Bottled water flows all day, every day.
We can accommodate all allergies. Note your child's allergies on the registration form and our team will reach out before the week starts to make a plan. Parents are always welcome to send a packed lunch labeled with their child's name as well.
Yes. We charter professional coach buses, and every bus is escorted by League City Police on the way to and from each off-site location. Trained volunteers ride along with kids assigned to specific groups, with multiple adult-to-kid checks before, during, and after the ride.
Each child is assigned to a small group with a dedicated leader for the entire week. Group leaders are background-checked, trained, and stay with their kids the whole time. We also station paid security at every single exit, every day, both on campus and at every off-site venue. Wristbands are required for re-entry, and we do head counts at every transition.
Comfortable clothes they can move in, closed-toe shoes, a refillable water bottle, and any prescribed medication. We'll send a full packing list a week before KIDCON kicks off. Don't worry about lunch or snacks, we've got those covered.
Note medications on the registration form. On day one, hand them off to our medical team at check-in along with dosing instructions. Meds stay locked in a designated area and are administered only by our trained team.
Groups are organized by grade so kids are with peers their own age. Siblings within the same grade can usually stay together if you note it on registration. For different grades, kids will be in separate groups but will see each other at full-group worship and the carnival.
Yes. We pair shy kids with leaders who specifically check in with them throughout the day. KIDCON is loud and high-energy, but there are quiet zones at every venue, and our team is trained to spot kids who need a break.
Yes. We have a photo team capturing the week and we share photos with families afterward. If you'd prefer your child not be photographed, just let us know on the registration form and our team will make sure of it.
Yes. Cost should never be the reason a kid can't come. Email kidcon@citymarkchurch.com and we'll quietly handle it, no questions asked.
We'd love that. Email kidcon@citymarkchurch.com and we'll send you the volunteer info. All volunteers complete a background check and a short training before KIDCON week.
