How we handle the information you share with us, in plain language.
This policy covers citymarkchurch.com, operated by Citymark Church in League City, Texas. We have tried to write it the way we talk. If anything here is unclear, just ask us.
Two places on this site ask for information, and both are optional:
We use that information to reply to you and to get you connected. Nothing more.
If you give us your email address or mobile number, we may use them to follow up with you, answer what you asked, and let you know about services, events, and ministry news at Citymark.
Our email is sent through Resend. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and we act on it.
About text messages. We only text people who have asked us to. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also just call the church office and we will take you off the list.
We do not share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with anyone. Mobile information is never sold, rented, or passed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consent to receive texts is not shared with anyone for any reason.
Giving us your phone number is never a condition of visiting, attending, or being cared for by this church.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people move through the site: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are, and what kind of device they use. This is collected through cookies and is reported to us in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you personally.
You can turn this off. Most browsers let you block cookies, and Google offers an opt-out add-on.
Some parts of this site hand you off to companies we work with. When that happens their privacy policies apply, not ours:
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. We share it inside our staff and ministry teams only when it is needed to follow up with you, and with the services listed above. Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are never included in any of that sharing.
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through it. Registrations for CityKids and other children's ministry are handled by a parent or guardian through Church Center.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@citymarkchurch.com and we will take care of it.
This site is served over HTTPS and we limit access to form submissions to the staff who need them. No system is perfect, so we will not promise the impossible, but we take it seriously.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
